Based on our current application infrastructure, PharmaStaffX utilizes the following categories of cookies and similar technologies.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary technologies are required for core Platform functionality, including secure login, authentication, account security, and session management. These technologies are not optional as they are technically necessary to provide the service you have requested.
Actual Implementations: We use secure authentication cookies provided by our backend infrastructure (Supabase) to maintain your secure session across the application.
Functional & Preference Technologies
We utilize browser local storage (localStorage) to temporarily remember your preferences, pending application steps, and Platform usage without requiring a server request.

pharmastaffx_saved_jobs/pharmastaffx_applied_jobs: Temporarily tracks jobs you interact with.pharmastaffx_temp_analysis/pharmastaffx_temp_resume: Safely retains your resume data locally while you use the AI Resume Analyzer or complete your profile.pharmastaffx_cookie_consent: Stores your cookie preference choices.
4. Analytics & Marketing Cookies (Not Currently Deployed)
PharmaStaffX respects your privacy. We do not currently use any third-party analytics tracking cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, PostHog), nor do we deploy marketing or advertising tracking pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel).
PharmaStaffX may introduce these categories in the future to better understand our traffic or support marketing campaigns. If we do so, we will update this Cookie Policy, integrate the relevant third-party providers into this document, and implement applicable consent requirements before they execute.
5. Cookie Duration
Session cookies: These are temporary and are deleted or expire when your browsing session ends. Our authentication flow utilizes session mechanisms.
Persistent cookies & Storage: These remain on your device for a defined period or until you manually delete them. Our local storage implementations (such as saved jobs or consent preferences) remain until they are programmatically cleared or manually cleared via your browser.
6. Third-Party Technologies
Currently, the only third-party infrastructure directly placing functional cookies is our authentication provider (Supabase) to manage secure login states. We do not embed external trackers or advertising SDKs.
7. Security
PharmaStaffX uses reasonable security measures for cookies and session technologies. Sensitive authentication cookies are configured to be Secure and HttpOnly where technically applicable, ensuring they cannot be accessed maliciously via client-side scripts.
While we use these measures to protect the Platform, cookie technologies are used subject to applicable law, our Privacy Policy, and user choices.
8. Managing Your Cookie Preferences & Browser Controls
You may manage your cookie preferences directly on our Platform at any time. Simply click the "Cookie Preferences" link located in the footer of the website to adjust your choices regarding optional functional technologies. Please note that necessary cookies cannot be disabled, and disabling functional technologies may impact your experience.
Additionally, modern browsers provide controls to delete cookies, block cookies, clear site data, and control tracking. You can find more information about managing cookies in your browser's settings or help documentation.

Where cookie-generated information constitutes personal data, processing will be handled according to applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.
